  • Honda's new 50cc scooter- RUCKUS

    Hi,
I just came across this link today
    2009 Ruckus - Honda Powersports

This is a humongous 49cc SCOOTER from Honda and trust me., u should take a look at this. It looks much better than any scooter i've seen..
Really wonder if the scooty, kinetics would ever cease.
The Honda Ruckus- simple but sexy. .!!!
    Imagine this on Indian roads
Honda claims "unlimited mileage warranty" on this.

Lolz but the price tag that will come along with it i guess the indian family will go for the nano. Handling this scooter will be one task with its length.
Really doubt the unlimited mileage part guess will have to wait till it hits the market. personal opinion did not like it.
            Good find Coplay

Atleast a few bits and pieces of this machine on OUR activa's or DIO's would make a big difference. something refreshingly nice.

Unlimited Mileage Warranty is a term used by automobile manufacturers to indicate warranty on their vehicle without a limit on the odometer reading. Like what Bajaj says for the P220 - 5 year unlimited mileage waranty - irrespective of how many KM's the bike has run for the warranty holds good for 5 years - unlike the "40,000 KMs / 2 years warranty which ever is earlier" types we see regularly.

Wow...now that is what I call urban transport. Crowded streets should be pure fun. BTW...I did not see any power figures quoted or maybe I overlooked. Any idea?

It looks YUCK to me. Looks like a steam engine albeit a tiny one!

Anything Honda is good enough for me... but i seriously do not think India will ever see this. Looks like a very high tech piece of machinery.
An average Indian will see just one seat and go "what a useless little thing".
So you have to appreciate art and technology first for this one....
btw, the linked braking system will be introduced in one of the Honda scooters soon... i think the activa. This was told to me by a senior Honda engineer yesterday.
                            hail Honda!
May the torque be with you..

hate scooters anyways,,,,,, know how to ride but really hate it now when i got used to a bike

anyways 49cc,,,,, that itself sounds depressing to me,,,n its length on our roads

                              and its price
