Sure but can americans afford go loose on their equipments - I dont bleev it. They are quite upto date.
Their equipments are usually quite good so it has to be +-10Km error otherwise I am willing to believe those speeds and this speed ticket is no joke stuffComment

apna john abrahm did over 300 KMph+ infinity in "Dhoom"...
I still laugh on the way uday chopra says it to Abhishek paaji "yeh zaroor 300 ke kafi upar honge, I am driving on 300 but not reaching them"...

how come one can control the bikes at that speed. its not a race track to be straight.its plain old city roads(it may be usa but still).if a sudden turn comes ahead, wats the position of that guy.

Damn, Ajmer is such a Sleeping City that even if you do 500 kmph, even a dog won't bark, leave alone policemen handing out such merit awards...
I did touch 131 on the speedo, when bike had a smaller sprocket. But no one caught me.

and yes, the only Stock bikes capable of 330 kmph+ were 1999 ZX 12R and 99' Hayabusa, I think. They used to touch 345 kmph, before the Japanese agreed on the 300 kmph limit, which they follow even today...
So, this Honda must be modified, or the cop might be wrong ...

its sad that quite a few people think this is cool. Especially from a forum where guys who do wheelies at 50kmph get flack for doing it without knee/elbow pads.
Even if this guy was fully kitted with top of the line leathers he was a huge risk to him self and other people on the road.Comment

Its difficult to believe a VTR 1000 does 200+ mph. There was a guy who was caught doing 200+ on a ZX-12 and that case had become famous in the US.Comment
