  • Hello from Korea.

http://www.fischer1.com ). That is how good the engine is for Comet 650. No doubt Comet 650 is an amazing bike for the price.
Anyway, Korean motorcycle quality is improving very rapidly. South Korea is the second most industrially and technologically advanced country in Asia, and has a strong background in ship and automobile industry. I have all the confidence that Korean motorcycle industry is going to get stronger and more advanced in the near future. The company that makes Comet 250 is called Hyosung, and majority of its stock shares have been bought by HJC Helmet co. recently, which is one of the largest motorcycle Helmet manufacturers in the world. I think they just got a new C.E.O and he is determined to improve the quality standard and the technology up to Japanese standard. They are releasing a new 1000cc V Twin sport bike next year, and they are developing an over liter 4 cylinder bike too.
Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy Comet, and maybe I will see you guys when I visit India next time.

      Hey Red,

Thanks for that info man. Really helpful to us, just like those pics of the Comet. Gives me some great idea's for modding the bike!

About that 2nd disc brake kit, how much does it sell for there? Maybe a few of us could import them in and save on shipping costs.

                        Thanks guys,
glad you guys like the pictures.
Comet 250 is an easy bike to modify.
I like the second pic from the top. The owner went all out and put Brembo brakes, LED lights and single side swing arm on. Looks nice with Dan Gurney race tape stripes and painted frame. The frame looks nice when you paint black or partial black paint like the fourth picture. Also repainting will prevent it from rusting.
If you guys don't get double disk brake kits or Zero 100 mufflers in India, maybe we can arrange ways to send them to India.
Zero 100 pipe improves the look and performance alot. I also think double disk brakes are MUST.

                          welcome Chi.
And rightly said with a 250 - Double disk is a must. And Thanks for helping all the new buyers but it still will take some time till we can see 250 on indian roads.
But approx. how much is the cost for the extra disk on the rough estimate.
It will be worth an upgrade on a small powerful beast.
