I think Its just that he is not finding a lid that suits his taste, people wait for months before buying their desired set of wheels whats wrong if he has decided to wait for a few days & wants to check out more options within his reach, Its only sensible that he is not going for rides without an appropriate helmet.
He is one of us, help him suggesting one, instead of calling him dumb.

I got my R1 when I had (still have my GPOne), but literally no other gear. Nobody called me dumb. I realised how much I had to unload my wallet on gear only after getting my bike. And even then it took a couple of months.
So let's please cut him some slack.

Well why dont you check out performanceracingstore in mumbai at worli. They have helmets from Sparx, KBC, JoeRocket. Range starts from Rs8000/- to 30000/-. Also check out their website hComment

. i was there in performance racing store in tardeo, mumbai today and picked up a KBC helmet. it has a very good fit and the owners vicky and prasad were patient and helpfull in helping me the right choice.
had a nice time today seeing all the aftermarket stuff they have...

THANX TO ALL>>>>>>>sorry to disturb u all for a helmet bt there is no good stock in pune and due to the DRI problem they are nt comming in contact k ... thats the main problem........... And i take ma bike out for city rides .... bt we have a group here who ride sports bikes here and when they go for highway ride i am nt able to join them ....... javibhas dude .... first, congrats for your bike. Second, its your choice of whether you want to wear a helmet or not. Not wearing a helmet on a 2 wheeler is an offense against the law. But since you are able to dodge that part, why bother getting one even for speeds over 150kmph ? Which i am sure not even 0.1 % of helmet owner's bikes in India can do

I hope you realize, that all the flack you are getting from fellow riders here, is an after effect of this topic having no pictures of your SBK yet.
+1 on waiting to get proper gear before you open up the throttle. But it probably drove some of us nuts, to read your argument..coupled with the fact that the post had no pictures. So, laugh it away man...
