        nice photoshop work...

just temme how does the bike turn? i mean there is absolutely no space for the front tyre to turn as it will bump into the engine!!

and what's with so many exhaust pipes??

and why are people wondering about the chassis being able to hold on to the engine or not?!!? does the guy on the bike look like he can remotely handle the bike...EVER?!?!?!?

One hell of a bugly bike there. Photoshop or a real model, it still takes some seriously dazed high on cocaine imagination to come up with something like that
            sigpic
Interviewer - How does it feels to drive at 300 km/h?
Kimi Raikkonen - It feels normal.

              I love this pic!

I first ran across this pic yrs ago and immediately printed a poster of it for the shop. I love this pic, the look on his face kills me, heheh. The outragousness of it is exquisite. As far as is it real, c'mon guys use the common sense you were taught as a kid. (I know its not very common any more.) It quite likely it is real as far as a mockup goes, I doubt this is photo shopped. Does it run? Not very likely since if you look you can see this started life as a 30 cylinder radial probably from an old bomber. The bottom bank has been removed for clearance which i'm pretty sure would result in some very rough running if it would fire at all. An old late 60's- early 70's Triumph chassis would also be a extremely poor choice to house a powerplant like this as well. I've ridden enough of 'em to say it wouldn't do a very good job of carrying the weight or handling the speeds this thing would be capable of. Even the steering radius I believe someone else mentioned is very limited between the two starter cylinders protruding at the front of the engine. But all this is somewhat irrelevant because it totally misses what I believe to be the point of this insane creation. It is without question the most outrageous, insane, and utterly crazy motorcycle I have ever seen. And even though the rational mind knows this is impossible, without question it has made thousands, maybe millions think, "what if, man thats insane!", shake your head, chuckle at the smug look on his face and at the preposterous idea that he could even hold it up with those toothpicks he calls legs, and walk away smiling. That I think is the point here and I for one think its absolutely fantastic and a great show of what we as builders and riders and jokers can dream up and bring to life... almost. Its a beautiful thing and it should be in a museum somewhere if it isn't already. In fact I would love to know the real story of this thing and its whereabouts, who's the nutcase that fabricated this monstrosity etc. It seems to be quite an enigma.

                The Warbird

Now here's something that is outrageously cool, and is very real. I have seen it with my own eyes, sat on it and begged to be a test pilot for it, lol. A very intelligent and talented individual named Ian Douglas designed and hand built this. It utilizes two cyls from a WWII radial with a bore of 5.125" and stroke of 4.625" for a total of 191ci or 3129cc. Flywheels are highly modified S&S stroker racing wheels. Connecting rods, crankcases etc. all fabbed by owner. Ok granted its not as extreme as Joebodys Rocket but without question this one's real. If you think you could handle a bike with aircraft power like the rocket, you may want to try your hand at this first. Probably change your mind about trying the rocket, heheh. Warbird Motorcycle
