            Thats right deadscary... the Blackbird was the first production bike to cross 300kmph.

              @ken : no.. it never went above 300 true speed

              look at this test b/w busa and blackbird. accordin to it , blackbird did max 171mph true (273.6kmph) - http://www.motorcycle.com/mo/mccompa...9topspeed.html


              this test shows blackbird's top as 177mph (283.2kmph) - http://www.xs4all.nl/~zx11/uk14.htm

              this test shows max speed as 178.5mph (285.6kmph) - http://www.2wf.com/articles/bike_tes...C02E55CA_3.asp

              so , the blackbird can no way do 300kmph true.. speedo may show 300/300+

                Ken , Blackbird never topped 290kmh in any of the tests I've read ( ranging from 275km to 288kmh top speed )

                      its a nice bike. looks even better when seen in real. i acually was lucky enough to see two of the standing at india gate one along with a fazer(prince's)and zx9r and teh fifth one i dont remember, i think it was a 1100xx too............
