it has been discontinued in India(that is what was reported by the press) maybe the ones already imported are delivered or asked for,
but what about global productions? as Yamaha UK shows that it is up

I don't think it's discontinued as it still features in the Yamaha India website.

          Here's a snipped pic

Even Yamaha Europe site shows the same but is absent from the Yamaha US site.

Any word yet on the KTMs and Bigger Ninjas?

The web was abuzz until March 2009 that Bajaj will be launching KTMs and Bigger Ninjas. Until the baby ninja arrived for real and stole hearts....
Now that people are queuing up for the Ninja 250 CC, what arrives next?
                          Any info, anyone??
                          Cheers!!

Yeah - and hopefully, they will be CKDs... For folks who paid 110% markup (well, call it customs or duty or what have you...) I salute you for the passion for your rigs and I wish you millions of happy miles and smiles with them. Personally, coming from a market where I could still buy something at 40% below MSRP if I time my moves right, Buying @ full price is bad enough and I would still grin and sock it up if it is a 25% mark up for CKDs and have the pleasure of riding them year round in Mera Bharat...
Oh well, Let's see what happens with the KTMs - The 1098s are apparently CBU's for sure....
                                Cheers!!
