    • Its much harder to launch bikes on a drag strip.

This is the last place a DB9 belongs, such a shame.

Its nice to see the bikes are brought down in 1 piece no hanky panky like here.
Locking the front and flipping is the worst experience you could err experience.

        • I'm suprised to see so many one piece imports there. But I've also been told that the duty is very less. Atleast the govt encourages it. I guess its because they dont have to worry about local manufacturers since there arent any.

i think u did not read my post carefully, Who told u duty on SBK's is "VERY LESS" ????

Now a days high % Duty on Sbk's more than your duty and u said "VERY LESS". Few idea about Prices of bikes in Pakistan.

            2003-5 12-13 lac's (US $ /price 54 - 60 PK Rs)
            2005-8 14 lac's (US $ /Price 60-70 PK Rs)
            2008-9 now a days Hayabusa cost 15-16 lac's (US $ /Price 80 PK Rs)

Every country people depends on there country level standard. So here in Pakistan every buddy cant afford 10 lac's of bike here.

Govt encourge ?? lol Govt have no interests in such things. Since last 60 years, we have nothing in this country (in motor sports field). In India, you have "Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India" (official license FIA), "FMSC" something like National sport federation (by govt of India), Go-Karting tracks in all over major cities of India like mumbai hyderabad calcutta etc another new Racing track coming soon in India is "Red Rooster Racing (RRR)" from some businessman people in india, "MMSC" Madras motor sports club and other motorsports drag strip. In Pakistan no drag strip nothing available just "Highways and roads". First time in the history of Pakistan Govt arranged Drag racing event at Walton Airport. Just one of few motor sports events from govt side.

                  • Very impressive. The roads look very "inviting". Seems there is a great biking scene growing there too.

                    • I seriously doubt that the duties are so high, then I dont think so many people would be spending so much money. Is there any official Pakistan Customs website?

                              • @superbikez: Why are the registration plates missing from 90% of these bikes? Which hints at the fact that these machines are as illegal as the word ILLEGAL itself!

Second, plesae remove the pictures in which rider/ pillion is not wearing a lid.
