Absolutely true. Just the model year dosen't justify the value of a bull.

The bike is not in such a good condition, but the engine is claimed to be an sealed one(factory fit). original paint, single owner, , tyres need replacement. Rims are rusted. it come with a speedo lining from the rear hub.. price : 50 K. I wanted to know if this pricing is OK for Karanataka. As the prices are sky high in Bangalore..I am sourcing this outside Bangalore. Guys please suggest if you feel this price is OK for such a bike ??? I also wanted to know, if 1972 models of std bullet were with G2 engines ??
With such kind of condition, you will end up spending a huge sum of money for the rebuild, no matter how much the parts may be cheap. In my opinion you should hunt for a running condition one, and then go for the replacements. Keep patience you will get one if you don't take any hasty decisions.

That is one of the best ideas. Really, the club guys might know a good machine which is for sale. Also that the UCE engine is not at all bad. The newer bullets have the aura of a bullet and less of maintenance. This decision is entirely yours weather you want to go for the modernised version or the old school CI. Both are great in their own ways.

All the more reason for you to buy a UCE engine. Bear in mind that a CI bullet really does need a lot of pampering, caring and running. If it is kept still for longer periods then it would need more attention.
