The brakes are still a pain and the front fork is leaking need to work on them soon.
planning on going for spoke wheels. P220 front and Rd350 AC rear.

The bike pulls well but the rear brake keeps holding it back. Rd 400 pipes on the way from USA then will sell the pipes on this bike. They are on of the cleanest ones you can ever find in india. Chromed only once still have the part # also on them ;-)

sorry for the crappy pics took them on the way to office from my mobile.

Beautiful machine Jagadeesh! High quality restoration. But why are you planning for spake wheels? These mags complete the daytona look . Where did you get the clutch bell set and the plates from? Pls mail me if you like. Let me know if you need the carb boots and the cylinder dampers.

Thanks nitesh - The current wheels complete the look but kill performance they are like boat anchors and the braking is so so. We can get these rebuilt to brand new specs but the rebuild kit for the calipers itself are around 40-50 pounds [ 4k plus shipping plus customs] and still we will have to rebuilt the master both front and rear the look at the discs as well. They are all in working condition now but not 100%.

instead of spending all that money i will keep them aside get a p220 front end complete for 12k and Rd rear depending on the price. That way i will have good modern braking upfront and a lighter bike with less unsprung weight. and dont have to worry abt parts either.
The reason i had to spend as much as i did i because of this bike wasnt produced in india and i had to literally get every part from UK or USA.
Please PM me the prices for the boots and dampers will need them
