Here is what I think.
Heaven is when she peaks out at 7500 rpm
Heaven is when she sounds like a raging storm
Heaven is when the front wheel leaves the tarmac
Heaven is when she RULES the roads
I had the pleasure of owning a 1980 350CI.
Sold It.
I may get a lot of flak for saying this. Having owned all three 350s sold in India, I will say
No1: RD350
No2: Yezdi 350-Twin
No3: Enfield Bullet
In terms ease of maintainence
1. Bullet
2. RD
3. Y-350
Simply bcoz bulls are so common, u will find spares and mechies any where. not the case with Y350 and RD35002 Qualis GS
03 Zen Carbon
62 Jawa 353 "Tank Switch"
83 RD350 HT
87 Yezdi 350 Twin
99 Yamaha YBX
03 RXZ 5-speed
08 Suzuki Access
None Sold!!! All in the Stable

If you are even comparing the RD with the C500 then I am assuming:
Either you dont ride the RD so much and hence the change
OR your bike is bad shape and hence the change
OR you like the C500 and hence the change.
In that case - Go for it.
Else. Dont bother.Super CommuTOURerïż½ - Talk less, Ride more

How can you even think about it. Did i read 'my beloved RD' ?? Both bikes are a class apart so if you like the Bullet, buy it too but no point in selling the RD unless you are in a dire need of funds.Originally posted by Sandeep.sidhu View PostHi friends i'm thinking about getting CL500 but i have an RD already which is running RDD CDI & UNIs so to get CL500 i have to sell my beloved RD because of parking problem.please advice me should i go for CL500 or stick to my RD.1985 Yamaha RD350 HT
