Can i have some info on Ravi Nagesh, please? History, accomplishments, products and solutions etc.

Karthik, please simmer down a bit! You are beginning to sound like a rowdy trying to threaten someone by telling them that they'll be thulped if they ever come to your neck of the woods! You know better than that!

i am not a spokesperson for Yamaha so i cannot comment on WHY they did certain things - but you seem to be a smart guy , why not try answering those same questions yourself ? btw when was the exhaust port played with to bring down emissions on the RX series ?

When will we guys put an end to these arguments and fights. My rule number one of behaving like a professional or a gentleman is - to agree to disagree.
Each one of us is entitled to like or dislike a particular tuner or a product or a service, based upon our own experience, or hearsay, or even fanboyism.
Sharing our good or bad experiences, discussing technical stuff, parts, manuals, tuning tips, helping out fellow members is what we guys like.
But bullying other people on the forum, excessively criticizing or badmouthing somebody, mine-is-bigger-than-yours and frog-in-the-well kind of statements are not appreciated by anybody. I repeat for the benefit of everybody: let us learn to agree to disagree (and still keep the conversation respectful).

the purpose of this thread is simple.

              answer these two questions...

              2) can any one help me in sourcing Band pipes for RD 350?
              the first question's been answered.

does anyone have something to say about the second question?

every post after the first page of this thread is irrelevant.

All the RDs are in restoration process right now. will surely post the pics of the RDs when I get chance as my bikes are at Rajkot(my home town in Gujarat) and I am currently posted at Mahuva (Bhavnagar District in Gujarat) with Axis Bank so no time to go there and take pics.
Look at the first post and whats been posted as a reply!!!! Why did xyz come into picture in the first place??????????

Can't that be discussed in that particular website.

@ Alok, Arun & all seniors, all i am trying to say is lets keep it neutral. Why do the marketing for some xyz brand, when the user had never ever asked about the igintion query?

And at those who think i am bullying here, thats not true. When i share my viewpoints, its with hard facts, and not some computer run simulations.

Please remember we had such a brawl last year also & i created a new thread for Analog Vs. Digital CDI, not a single soul here responded to that query. Why?

                Here is the link, http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/thumpers...g-cdi-one.html

                532 views & not a single reply!!!!!!!!

I suggest everone take a Tequila Shot & think about this whole scenario again. I didn't start this fire, nor did any of my B'lore collegues.

                  Excellent Story

Read the story below, makes a lot of sense.

                  Never Ending Criticism

Once there was an old man and a young boy who were traveling with a donkey. The young man was leading the donkey and the old man was riding on the donkey. When they passed through a small village, some of the townspeople yelled abuse, "Look at this old man taking advantage of this poor young boy! What a rascal!" After they had passed through the village, the old man said, "We had better swap over, otherwise they will abuse us in the next village." So then they swapped with the old man leading and the young boy riding. But in the next village also they got criticized, "Look at this selfish boy, taking advantage of his grandfather. He should let the old man ride on the donkey." So then they both got off and led the donkey, but in the next village the people yelled out, "Look at these two stupid people! They have a donkey, but they are choosing to walk instead!" Then the old man concluded, "Actually, it doesn't matter what you do, people will always criticise."

Why are u taking things personally?
                    To each his own.

R we here to discuss bikes or r we here to make people look insignificant?

I have no issues with anyone discussing anything.

IT WAS THE TONE THAT WAS NOT RIGHT.

And yes I agree that it should be relevant to the thread

Again, Karthik, this is NOT for u personally.

Please all, shake hands, have a cold frosty one and get back to thinking how we love our machines and why we are here all together.

Being a silent spectator & seeing the clash going on, feels no good boys. C'mon we are here for one good reason "Two Strokes" let anyone have their own personal choices & taste. Let's not tamper their belief & their race winning history if or not any. Let's shake hands & smoke the 4stjokes. Peace...

I guess the ladies will be able to decide which is better...2-strokes or 4

Just a joke. Request some of the Bangalore 2-stroke junkies to PLEASE exchange numbers with me over PM. I've moved here and I've got a Roadking, RD350 and TZR250 that need some TLC.

                        Thanks!

For those who dont know Ravi Nagesh is the person who pioneered the after market 90/100 kits for our 2 strokes, helping keep many of these bikes alive and kicking . He is the man behind the electricals on Anthony's record breaking drag RD350. The fact that he has achieved all of this through sheer hard work at his age and has done it without exploiting the internet speaks volumes about his achievements and credentials.

@vampire Hey hey there's so much tension in this thread I thought it could use some light hearted humour anyways so Mr Nagesh does he work with NMW racing? this guy Anthony's drag RD what time did it clock?

I am running the Ravi Nagesh kit with a RX135 5 speed CDI and haven't had any issues. I guess I am different from the rest of the guys because I didn't really aim for big numbers in terms of horsepower, top speed etc. I just love the way my RD350 looks, moves and sounds and I don't care if it tops out at 120. I just want it to ride on as long as I live...

This has NOTHING to do with the original query posted here but I just thought I'd let all you tuners and tuner's friends and fans that there is more to biking than going quickly...

For god's sake don't turn into a bulleteer just because I said that
