  • Assistance Required for My Rx 135 (2001 model) Recitifier

    Hi All,
I am totally new to this forum. I need some help in fixing my rectifier for my darling(yamaha RX135 2001 model).I use a roots horn with meloday maker which is rated 5A. I use a AMARON battery rated 5A. the problem here is my rectifier cannot charge the battery since it is designed for 2.5 AMPS only.My mechanic told me like we can change the rectifier alone to fix this, we searched for a suzuki shogun rectifier but in vain. Kindly assist me how to proceed on this.

Modifications can fix this, but it looks like too much trouble for a melodious horn ... it's the firing of your bike melodious enough ?!!!

Also using a 5A battery will require u to mode the battery storage area ...

My suggestion : keep it stock and enjoy the bike - not the horn ....

Of course this is just my personal opinion ..

That makes me to ask a question here...

I have Amco 5ah battery plonked on my bike and offcourse no 'meloday' horns. I've not changed any rectifier to assist charging functionality. It's just fine. I'm little concerned here that if I'm yet to face the wrath of my set up?

Nothing to worry; I'd this setup for over 2-3 years running fine.
