    Dilemma - What next after the 4 horsemen?

    Hi All,

    Well this question has been bugging me for sometime and I hoped to put it out there.

    I have had my share of good fortune and God has been kind enough to bless me with four iconic beauties to call my own. The thump of a Bullet, roar of an RD,excitement of an RX and the easiness of a Yezdi. These are the kings or more like the four horsemen of Indian biking scene and nothing comes even close to them.

    But sometimes..I contemplate and think what would be my next step. All these four have set a real tall order and in my opinion, the newly launched bikes fail to meet the bar. I know some of you might have thought about something similar, but I'm just putting it out there.

    So here goes - What according you should be your next bike?

    I 'll take a start. My ideal bike would be ideal bike would be something that looks like a bullet, has the ease and comfort of a Yezdi, peppy like an RX and scorcher like the RD350.

    Advice is a form of nostalgia.
    Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

      No current Indian made bike will match this requirement. I hope Triumph Bonneville can reach India next year that will match few of your requirements.

          I thought you were looking for parallel twin like RD,one silencer each side like yezdi and British looks like bullet .

            Well..883 has the torgue..looks good..dont know how easy it is to ride...and ya its a really short harley.. so I think it would be zippy.

                i guess ..if u like RX ..shogun shud also do the trick ...one of my cousins too had a certain dilemma .he found a RD 400 ..super neat bike ..looks diff too..

                  Well...in between now and starting this thread, I've got myself an Bajaj SX 100 Endura (1997) model. For those who are interested, here's the link to the Endura thread -

                  Coming back to the original question, after much debate and consideration..I've finally decided to step into some bigger shoes and get myself a 2013 Ninja 650R. Will be booking the bike in the coming week and if everything goes right..will have it by end of March (fingers crossed).
