this is aditya here . i would like to know if there will any problem in placing an cv carb of pulsar 180 on a 2 stroke yezdi roadking . the venturi size of the original jikov carburetor is 26 mm and the mikuni of the pulsar is also the same . so i want the experts to tell me is it advisable to install a 4 stroke carburetor on a 2 stroke bike .

Any particular reason why you want to use a cv carburetor on the yezdi?
BTW: Old type pulsars have 3 carb sizes: BS26-150 cc, BS29-180&200cc and UCD32-220cc.
As far as I know, CV type carbs work with four stroke engines properly as they need a strong vacuum signal to raise the diaphagram. Vacuum generated by a two stroke engine is not strong enough to run cv carbs properly.Last edited by Bibhu; 10-29-2012, 09:15 AM.HYPERTHRUST CLEARED AND COUNTING
