U need to understand the bike..

    Hi,
Read all the dissapointments and horror stories about the bull.
    Still went and brought Electra.
    I knew:
    1. If u want to ride and race around, bike is not for it.
    2. If u are average concious, bike is not for it.
    3. If u believe Commuting/Travelling = Biking, not for it.
    4. If u believe in Fill-and-Forget, bike is not for it.

So, all the no's identified. Still I went for it because no competitive bike will be able to give me:
    1. Ride comfortability after say just 4 years (had many, seen many, blew with winds)
    2. Might be riding for 6-7 years, but when even something goes wrong, can and many times will be fooled by a small street garage worker.
    3. If other bike fails, sometimes even puncture, owner will be standing and waving hands for either help or damaging the bike more by riding in the same manner.
    4. No other bike will involve owner in understanding the hardcore terms which are printed in the Manual which are provided.
    5. Not even 30% Statistics associated with bike is understood.
    6. Bike name might be Passion (no offence just analogy) but there aint be any passion in having the bike.
    7. Central idea, if one is purchasing a bike to reach from point x to y and not having enough money to own a car and maintain/use it THEN don't think of Bullet go for some 125 cc bike.
    8. AND Machismo is not in Show off, it is not in looking rugged, it is not sobbing on small issues, it cannot be stated in words, but let me put it somehow...
"When going gets tough, the tough gets going" others rut.

Please understand this and then make a choice..
Bullet, Nothing else will ever do...

          Ha..ha..ha..ha..ha........

Read the article, it was good to read. Even better to know it was written by zma owner. Really appreciate the concern and effort of rider of other bike discussing/dissecting other one.
I don't want to draw the attention to two guys attacking and explaining things about the bike. Please refer to my earlier post, i think that had raised an angry reply on topic.
Also, Push rod technology or whatever, it doesn't matter. Reaching 60kmph was very funny, indeed I laughed my way out of it.

My understanding so far is a bullet can be a "fill it shut it forget it" bike if we use it only for city riding?

Apart from the 500 engine there is nothing special in it... if you intend to be unique you can go for a UCE 350 convert it to the Classic that would cost no more than 10K not to mention that it does not include the exumprtion of the brand new TB parts that you are going to give off to the showroom or some where...

                              Hey there niks_devil!

Well, yes there is a lot of difference, but it is only in terms of what people recognized as a Bullet. Apart from this shift in the definition, there is nothing "special" in it, as Deep rightly put it.

And as I feel, you will be unique if you buy a UCE 350 is because there aren't many out there as yet.

                              Take care.

                              Happy thumping,

Very true as Prakhar said -you would be unique if you buy a UCE 350 . About the UCE 500, no one knows when it would be out in real (atleast in India)...and then the time would tell about Bullet CLASSIC... (ITS JUST A WAY HOW RE IS TRYING TO SELL THESE NEW BIATCHES).
So Nicks, if you are expecting some thing great out of the 500, i am sure you would be able to get the same pleasure in the 350 UCE. About the Bullet classic... it is just about the looks not the engine. it would be sharing the same one as the UCE 500. so when the body styling of the BULLET CLASSIC is being talked about, i dont find any thing facinating or new. its just weird to see some inteligent people going GA GA over some thing that has been around all their life, even before they or their Forefathers were born.

NO OFFENCE MEANT TO NO ONE

(WHEN IT COMES TO THE UCE 350 or any other bullet)
It feels great to see that you are doing 135 where as in real yo have just crossed 100. and if you go that way for another 10 KM you will have to end up at your buddies place for a NEW PISTON.

ahha but i still love my bullet... :P

                                Keep Thumping
