Long story short, I have been a bullet enthu ever since puberty ..... To the extent that I just followed bulls on the road without any reason just to see the guys handling them so gracefully..... always dreamt of owning one and been fortunate to own a couple of them now. I have a 2009 Model Electra 5s and a 1988 Standard.

This post is more of my girl and her transformation.

I had bought this 1988 model after the standards were phased out by the RE. Though I already had the 2009 Electra 5s, I always wanted to own a standard Bullet for reasons unknown to me. So here I was filtering through posts online and spending weekends just to see if I can meet someone who is willing to sell a standard. After a lot of effort, I found one from the same mechanic I get my 2009 model serviced [i never trusted the RE service execs with my girls I always felt they treated them badly ]. It was the "Boy under armpit and hyper-city noise pollution kinda feeling" after I saw her..... It was in "OK" condition and I went for it trusting my guy and my instincts.... and yes it served me very well till I had given it off for a overhaul....

I was very proud to pull of a one day to and fro trip with her to Srisailam. We had covered around 600kms that day and she was very well behaved.... infact, she did not nag at all

This was around the mid April last year, and immediately after the trip by brother suggested we get an overhaul of her.... and I agreed!!!

Then started the nervous times and the sleepless nights..... Infact, they were completely unnecessary. My guy was doing a brilliant job!! but I was me and knowing myself so well, this was expected.....

And after spending some nervous times and some delays and slow work and lots of money here it was the beauty.... she turned out to be smoking hot....

So going by the saying, its better late than never, and to the promise I made to my self to be more active on this forum, here it is, I had to post my girl here.....
