  • KB 100 - Mechanic and information Required

    Hello Everyone,

I am writing this after a tiring search of the threads, please someone point me to a good mechanic for the KB 100 in Bangalore. Also need to know which is the best place in Bangalore to source KB 100 parts.

Please someone help me with the specs of this motorcycle .. what grade of engine oil it uses and what to watch out for when buying a used KB 100.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Best,

    Valkyrie

Hi Valkyrie. First of all check the the chassis, electrical's and if possible if it runs. Now if there is any serious problems with the engine or chassis don't go in for it or I promise you, you will never recover from a bad rebuild of a KB100 whether you do it yourself or you get it done from a mechanic. Make sure the carb is in working condition, make sure the pipe connecting the air filter to the engine is intact. Few questions:

        1. What is the year of manufacturer of your bike?
        2. Is it KB-100, KB-100 RTZ or KB-100 Delta Tuned?

There are a few experienced guys who will help you here. Rookieraj for one. He put together a KB-125 from scratch and sarin as well....so ask your questions, post your pictures and advice will pour in!
