Re: Suzuki ax 100 powerbox
"Do it Yourself" is the way to go. There are just 2 point you need to keep in mind.
1) The Volume should be almost equivalent to the cc of the engine. So ideally something close to 100 ml would do. Volume does not consider the hose and other extensions.
2) The end which attaches to the hose should be funnel shaped and always facing downwards.
Check if any rubber manifold from Yamaha, Kawasaki or other 2 stroke bikes in Argentina would have a matching bolt pattern. That would make your job simpler. Look for Induction box (Yamaha YEIS) or Delta box (Kawasaki). They are all one and the same and generically known as boost bottles. Somewhere in the net there is also a good tutorial for a DIY boost bottle.

Re: Suzuki ax 100 powerbox
Look for a shogun manifold and power box. Would be easier to locate. Although it would be a bit costly. Post a request on spareswala page.Originally posted by srinikasyap View PostThank you so much. Would look around.
Do you have more info on this powerbox?

Re: Suzuki ax 100 powerbox
Few months back I had picked one from the GP road for my RX, its was an OE powerbox.Originally posted by srinikasyap View PostThank you so much. Would look around.

I was suspecting some lag in power and hence went for complete replacement.
These items generally are not prone to wear hence very limited in stock in the market.
you need to mod this powerbox though to suit your requirement.Stop at RED and go at GREEN !!!

Re: Suzuki ax 100 powerbox
Firstly this will work only in a 2 stroke bike with a reed valve. I presume your AX100 has one. It is very much feasible to install one. All you need is the intake manifold rubber flange of the Supra or custom make a flange with a small pipe protruding on the upper side. Take Yamaha YEIS manifold for reference. Yamaha calls it YEIS (Yamaha Energy Induction System), Kawasaki called it Delta box, Suzuki calls it powerbox. In the end it is all the same. The box has to be placed above the level of this manifold and the bottom end has to be tapered towards the manifold. Could you please post a pic of the manifold in your bike?Originally posted by srinikasyap View PostThis is for my Ind-suzuki AX 100.
