Kinetic Honda Maintenance Tips?

    Kinetic Honda Maintenance Tips?

    I have no idea how to maintain my Kinetic Honda.
    It has run somewhere 1 and half or 2 lakhs above, dont know exact kms count as meter was not working!
    Not rebored yet!
    No parts changed!!! FULLY STOCK!
    As it being FULLY STOCK, I have saved about 1100 Rs! I want to mod it within the budget
    If I give my Kinetic to mechanic, he just waterwash, clean the air filter and give it to me.
    It doesn't have battery and running it until its life ends!
    I want decent mileage.

    I want a milage like vinayduke(I don't want 47 and all. Just 35-38 is ok for me!)
    So give me some tips for maintaining my kinetic to extract all the juice it has!
    And Give me some power mod suggestions!

      Hi RSVB, A detailed description of your K-Ho like the number of kilometers it has been used, the problem history and the parts that have been changed would be of immense help to any two stroke guy that would like to respond to your query. Kindly post as many details as you can.

          i too own a Kinetic Honda 1st owner and its is 16 year old now, the average fuel economy is true that u mentioned ie 40+ my kine has always given me this figure
          but i guess u need to check ur bore etc coz of the amount of Kms done ...as far as maintaining the kine, it really needs no maintenance i mean regular service does the trick . i have never done any thing else it runs fine and gives a gud mileage

            BIG UPDATE!!!!!
            My Kiney got seized.
            Shown to my mechanic and he says "you cant do anymore work on this bore. I can get you a new 100/110 cc bore depending on availability for Rs. 1500"
            I am sure that he would do a rebore job as it is nearly impossible for finding a new bore.
            As I said this to my friend, he said that he will give his kiney's bore kit for me.
            He gave me a quote of ZERO!!!!!
            He said "Best friends never give and get money!"
            The bore kit has been used for about 65k kms!
            Going to install it into my kiney!!!
            As i am not in my area in chennai now(Mylapore) I will install it ASAP!

            Now, will I need to rebore the bore that I am currently having?

                Get a new set reboring if not properly would not do any good.
