1>yamaha rx king head (imported)--due to porting of inlet exhaust transfer port and boost port, there will be decrease in compression of the 4TL10 5-speed bore to compensate the loss in compression the king head has been used which has a smaller squish band volume which enhances the compression ratio.
2>--bore we have used 4TL10 5 speed bore because of higher band width compared to 4 speed barrel and different port angle's and port timing which results in gas flow thereby resulting in higher rpm's.
3>--carburettor --d-slide 28mm drag carburettor ,which has a vacuum pressure favouring quick and higher end rpm's for drag racing.
4>expansion chamber-- the most important add on for 2 stroke race engine we have calculated the dimensions using stimulator software and the chamber was calculated and fabricated according to desired dimensions.
5>air filter--UNI filter used along with race carb to suit the flat-slide and tune accordingly .
6> sprockets rxG sprocket used .
7>altered gear wheels as per drag requirements.
8>hardened clutch springs along with imported clutch plate's.
NEXT SET OF MODIFICATIONS.
1>ported RXKING barrel.
2>tweaked king head .
3>carburettor jetting
4>cdi with advanced timings.
5>light weight crankshaft in process.
6>light weight magnet.
7>Vforce v3 reed valve.
The bike was put to test against the remapped duke 200 (approximately 28 bhp) after the running in.of about 300kms. The drag was held in about 600 metres stretch. As the race started the duke took of with a lead in the first 50metres after which the rx took upon finishing the race with around 100metres lead and proving disastrous to the duke 200. The pictures of the drag are as posted below.
