  • [Photo Feature]: Yezdi Classic D 250 Restoration

    Hi Group Members,

I am attaching my Yezdi Classic D 250, 1986 model which is undergoing a complete restoration.

    I see forum members feedback.

The total project cost is between Rs.45-50 K (Including labour charges)

I have attached only a few photographs.

What is the gear box oil and 2T engine oil to be used with the petrol and in what proportion.

    Regards,
    N Sundar

I use the shell 2T oil for the engine and would strongly recommend you to use it. Use 50ml/1litre (Ratio of 1:20) during the running- in period and 30ml oil per litre thereafter. (Ratio of 1:33)

For the gearbox, I use the Bosch one (changing it every 3000 km) but not sure if that's best one to use. It works for me.
