    RX 135- Need Mechanic - Indira Nagar, Bangalore.

    I am sorry if this is a redundant thread. But it is getting really frustrating and I could not find a solution on any other similar threads.

    I have an RX 135.

    I am not able to find a reliable mechanic who would say he fixed a thing and it would have actually fixed.

    To strat with, my problems are regarding my rear brake making a low screeching noise especially on half brake, my front brake making a tick-tick noise on full brake at relatively high speed, chain oil leak etc. I have tried my luck with many mechanics spend over a month just to fix these issues. No luck. None of them seem to be reliable.

    I need a mechanic who is fluent with two strokes and will help me fix these small issues and do a bore change for me.

        One of my friend got a pre owned RXZ restored to mint condition somewhere near Banashankari. I have seen his bike and also have ridden it. Am impressed with his quality of work. It's been two years since the restoration and even to this day it rides like new. If u don't mind getting your bike to Banashankari, I would enquire with my friend and let you know the mechanics name and address. Is that ok? Let me know.

              Query like these, you can also try posting in Xbhp Bangalore Offline thread, might help.


              To your query - usually worn brake shoe liners might abrade with the drum making the noise. Also, will need to clean the drum and give a very mild rub with sandpaper to remove the dust.
              Front brake - can't exactly decifer from your description, however, hope you have checked that it is not from steering cone area.

              Don't worry, Bangalore is known for Yamaha 2stroke specialists, your bike issues will be resolved soon.

                There is a Yamaha rx mechanic who's been restoring and building rx's right from the chassis and knows his job too well. He is put up in basaveshwar nagar. I know him since few years. Lemme know if u still need a mech for your bike.

                    Kishore. I suggest you meet prasanna who is the service engineer in triumph. He is a close friend of mine. I will share you his number if interested. He has a work shop of his own in Peenya. If distance within bangalore is not a problem and getting a good service for your bike stands as a priority do pay a visit to his shop. You shall get what you are searching for.
