It uses a super charger for for filling and scavenging, partly based on lotus design.

Can't wait to see how this screamer turns out, Supercharged!! i hope you have enough pistons to melt

Don't mind if I end up being naive, but I have some questions?
                        1.U are using a 4s engine,but can a 2s be used for the similar development,example RX100 engine?
2.Direct injection tech sprays the fuel directly on the piston cylinders as far as I know, but how is the fuel system set up to do so?
3.Would it boast similar power gain as did original 2s over 4s?

Some of the above questions may seem to ask inside details, but I only need some basics cause I heard that DI 2s is gonna be more fuel efficient & less polluting than a regular 4S.
I am also thinking of incorporating a bit of motogp 125 2s tech to a RX100 engine for obvious performance gains and supercharging is also in my head.

The bottom part of the piston is doing what the super charger needs to do on a 2 stroke. And yes ,if the fuel is injected after closure of the exhaust port ,the engine will be super clean. That is ,the main reason for the 4 stroke pollution being ,Nox emission due to high exhaust temperatures. And higher hydro carbon and co emissions on a 2 stroke being high due to shorting .
                          cheers

Hi all...... on the February issue of Bike there is some gyan on 2-stroke engines which are more efficient than & less polluting than 4-stroke's ...... but the engine won't be as simple as the yesteryear's engines ....... they are using some multi-injecting technology........ I don't remember the whole concept but I'll check it & post it tomorrow if you guys are interested..... we can hope the return of 2-strokes again for a good change......
