    finally got the beast

    hi guys ,after years of searching i finally managed to find an rd 350 which was in better condition than the crap i have seen before. its almost stock except for the suspension. i already own a 1991 rx 100 and now this beast.






    apart from them both being yams can anyone looking at the pictures tell whats common in both these bikeslook closely

            Tell us about the tech-specs.. HT or LT, Year, sleeved/un-sleeved, running on points/ cdi? Congrats on ur purchase buddy

              thanks , and yes you guys quickly found out what the 2 yams hav in commom.its a 1986 lt, not sleeved thank god,still runnin on points, and i checked to see if there were restrictor plates but nothings there, anyway the only problem is the silencers because of the cracked chrome and dents

                Go for some properly designed expansion chambers. Proton is a good brand. Or else, get the stock silencers from US.

                      does anyone have any idea how to get the bend pipes clean and shiny right now its kind of tan in colour, also i think the engine has more than 2 layers of paint which i think is causing it to overheat ,sandpaper dosent seem to get any paint off will thinner work ??? & vasanth kumar i paid 50k wat u say is it worth it for that price, i deff think so & now i dont feel like riding my rx 100 anymore

                            a few more pics of the bike ,sorry about the pic quality they are all taken in the night because thats the time i go out for a ride because theres less traffic and so i get to rip her anyways i'll try and get some good pics in broad daylight next time

                              But, seriously, the RD silencer scene is too bad thesedays.. i see every other day a scrap/offline msg by a newbie asking for the details of new silencers.. the only option remaining for them are good chambers.. only a few offers them thesedays too.. like HVC cycle & Proton.. i have no idea on DG or Moto Carrera though.. are they still in production?
