So any more ideas on the supercharging bit? I think it'll be better for a single cylinder engine, independent of the exhaust pressure (which may or may not be enough to spin a turbo) run by the crank.

Also what changes should be made to the carb? Should't it be pressurised?

I searched my b utt off but couldnt find a small enough supercharger on the net.

                          Can anyone help me please?

                                Hey guys,

I remember seeing an article in an old issue of Auto India on this very topic, by Dilip Bam. It featured a supercharged RXG [:0]. I looked for the issue for the pics but cudnt find it. As I remember, some guy Dilip knows connected a rotor (the kind used in pumps) to the magneto , covering it, and the engine cover (gear-shift side) was also modified to accomodate this. A tube was used to connect the side cover to the air box. The rotor pushes air into the airbox at fairly high pressure. (Dunno y, but maybe bcoz the rotor was as big as the magneto, and there wasnt much clearance between the cover and the rotor). The guy claimed that his modded RXG could challenge Dilip's Shogun in both Kmph and Kmpl.

Now Auto India is a reputed mag (The top mag back then, and the first to go all color, as i remember). I dont think Dilip Bam, who is a well known expert would report something like this as a two page article with pics, if there wasnt any truth in it. Does anyone remember this article? It would be helpful if you had back issues.

Here's hoping someone wud find something..
