wierd classic : guess the bike??

  • wierd classic : guess the bike??

    i was passing through a car shining shop and i saw this through the front window
    at first i thought an ENFIELD CLASSIC and was shocked A BULLET in saudi

    highly unlikely!!!!!! so i stopped went in and saw a BOXER ENGINE so i think man has to be a BMW then i ask the guy working there who tells me its a CHINEESE bike. ok i even saw chineese inscripstions on the bike at places it even has a proper car battery to start it.

    so now im confused WHAT IS IT?? looks like a classic but the guy tells me its a 2003

    comon guys help identiy it!!!!!!

      its CHANJIANG 750.. a good quality copy of the prewar BMW .. i'd love own one if its available here in india [at chinese prices ofcourse!]

        The bike looks great
        good that its not a real classic other wise would have cost a bomb and hard to keep up with.

        any ways would any one know what are all those levers for and it seems that the engine is based on some kinda SUNBEAM

            even the engine looks soo different its based ont he boxer engine right??

            does look pretty classic.
            but would be difficult to maintain in india i guess.

                Really looks huge. Seems it is really well maintained. Did anybody see it in India?

                  Once you say "Chinese" bike, its really difficult to like it. Rather ride a Bajaj Boxer to a chinese copy.

                  Can you really look at this bike the exotic way? 2003 model, not too difficult to keep it in this condition I would say.

                    This is a Chinese Replica of the Famous BMW R71 and is known as:- "Chang Jian 750 M1 Super"

                    Some pictures of Chang Jian 750 M1 Super. Hope this clears your confusion.

                      Who says the chinese are't good in REVERSE ENGINEERING.

                              did the chinese clone any bike with in-line four engine? if they do, i think it'll be ok to import it to india to have some cheap thrills (sure it'll cost 75% less than our superbikes)
