    I have a yezdi d250 classic model
    its 1978 model
    i want to restore it.
i live in Delhi and i am not able to get any mechanic for restoring a yezdi.
Its my grand Father's gift to my Father.
i want to gift it to my father once again by restoring it.
How much will it cost me to restore it ?
I want a good mechanic for doing so..

    Thread Approved
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

      Hi.
I am not from Delhi, so would not know much about the mechanics there. Hopefully others reply...

However, what is the scope of the repairs?Denting painting or more? How soon do you want to do it? Your estimated budget? A full restoration may take months (for want of availability of parts).

It would be helpful if you could upload pics, so it would maybe build up some interest in the same.

Also Nai Walan near Karol Bagh is a place where a lot of Jawa/Yezdi spares are/were available. So availability of some or the other mechanic may be highly likely (however honesty or skill is not guaranteed - as I haven't checked them out).

All the best. Keep us posted.
Also if you are okay with sending it out of Delhi, I am sure a good no. of guys in the forum who've had their bikes repaired in Bengaluru / Chennai / Pune etc. can help you with details of known trustworthy mechanics.

Like I said depends on your budget and current bike condition. Minimum 15K. Maximum 1lakh or more. Depends whether you want to use original parts / used parts / after market stuff...
The final amount maybe enough to buy atleast 1 or 2 fully restored Yezdi bikes.
