The RX100 Experiments
Hi folks, am lokesh from madurai, tamilnadu. we own a 1991 RX100, which is 3 years elder than me. We bought it during july, eventhough the bike was in running conditions we were not able to take the bike because of the paper issues. After sorting out those issues. We had started renovating the bike. We had changed almost everything to our knowledge. Due to poor quality of paint we had some problems with the mechanic. We just received the bike on the friday. The first day was smooth. But the real problems had started afterwards. Yesterday my uncle got stranded in the middle of nowhere. The bike had stopped suddenly. Luckily he got a mechanic, and the issue was carb blockage. Now its quite hard to start the bike its taking nearly 10 to 15 minutes to start the bike even with the choke. The bike continues to stop even before 1 km. After the renovation works the bike hadnt even run 25 km. Due to bitter experiences in the past i cant go to same mechanic. To be honest, i have 0 knowledge about 2 strokes. My uncle has been dreaming about this bike for 20 years, but now he is heartbroken. Requesting someone to fed me with some knowledge about RX100Tags: None

Re: The RX100 Experiments
a)your fuel cock is cloggedOriginally posted by lokeshuv View PostThere is no leakage but we have to suck it inorder for the fuel to flow in to the carb
b) the vent hole inyour petrol tank lid is clogged
to check disconnect the petrol tube from the carb and see if petrol is flowing out freely through it, in both normal and reserve , if not open the petrol tank cap and see if petrol starts flowing , if it flows when the cap is open then the vent hole in the cap is blocked you need to unblock it or replace the cap , if it doesnt flow even when cap is open then your fuel cock must be changedKawasaki KB100/enduro/125 substitute parts list http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/508615-post105.html
