  • DIY Suzuki max 100r restoration

After restoration of rx 100 few years back its very itchy to see my collage bike eating dust in my garage. The bike is 1999 humble suzuki max 100r. The bike is Very reliable and practically trouble free throughout 235000 kms covered.
The thought of restoration of max always clicks in my mind but everytime gets missed in past few years. I know spares for this machine is not readily available, it is very time consuming affair but instead of hunting parts i stripped it down today in my home and decided to built it by myself all alone because i know my nature. I never build any engine prior but wanna build one by myself madly.
The restoration process will be very slow but steady. I dont wanna use any non oe parts unless absolutely neccessary.
I dont have any complete snap before stripping off the bike coz today i am full time madly busy with stripping her [emoji7]

Tomorrow i will go for hunting tools as its my first ever DIY rebuild. I wish to have all the neccessary tools first before i dismantle the engine.

My plan is rebuild my bike close to stock version. I dont have abundant leave to done all the project at one go. Spare parts availablity are limited to some imp parts only so its a real time consuming task to hunt for all the required parts
