RD350 Carburetor rebuild

    RD350 Carburetor rebuild

    Hi Guys,

    I was planning to order carb rebuild kits but I heard only main jets, needles and float valve assembly fit and rest everything else gets trashed.
    So I am planning to place order for the below items:

    Mikuni VM Pilot Jet - 25
    Mikuni Needle Jet Bleed Type - 175O8
    Mikuni Air Jet .5
    Needle Number: 169PO
    Mikuni Jet Needles (5DP7 or 5L1) 5l4 not available
    Float Bowl Drain Washer
    Float Bowl Gasket
    Main Jet Washer
    Mikuni Needle Valve Assembly
    VM26-28 Carb Top Gasket
    Jets - Mains 220
    VM26, 28 Float

    Please advise if this information is correct. I have RD350 LT with UNI pods. I had oxidization in my carbs.

      Your bike will not run with 220 mains, even with pod filters it will be too rich. There is a Bike built by me and my friend in Srinagar, you can check that out, its running on CDI.

        Thanks for the reply. Can you share the details of the guy in Srinagar as I need some help with RDD CDI installation.
        These 220 main jets came with RDD UNI pods.

        Is the other information on carb parts correct?
