Re: Touring modifications for stock Yamaha RX100

So, after a month of being dormant([emoji28] I am really sorry) here are the stuff done on my bike till now.

    - hazard lights installation (would make another thread for an RX if requested)
It works wonderfully and mod is reliable

    - a new Reflector lens for headlight ( Hella one) with a HS1 12V 35/35w bulb it has wonderful light output

This is the level of darkness
    .

This is with the new headlight setup

    - Also fitted her with new pair of Horns with a Relay. Again Hella ones[emoji57] which are as loud as a Cars horn [emoji28]

    - then comes a new muffler which after 2000km has also become loud [emoji23] again due to carbon buildup but has really good back pressure

    - also in case of Vibrations we (me and a fellow 2-stroker) found out that my clutch bell had developed awful lot of play which was making a lot of noise and vibration.
So we replaced the whole Cltuch assembly with old stock spares just to be sure that his problem never arises. And the result was 50%-60% of my vibrations were gone and my bike was performing better than ever[emoji16].
So no need for cushion seat now.

    - Also I have installed a Studds Luggage box on a long carrier fitted to my RX
    .

Here are the stuff that I store in it i.e. a toolbox, some spare parts(spark plugs, extra chain links, some silencer muffler screws[emoji28]) along with bungee cords and cloths for cleaning

By the way this box looks a bit absurd but is very helpful

    - Also have ordered a pair of fresh Michelin rubber i.e. Sirac Street 2.75X 18 at front and
    3.00 X 18 at rear

    - I have dropped the idea of installation of Disc brakes on my bike as I had recently replaced complete front and rear braking components and I have to say now[emoji28] that drum brakes are not bad too until they are not maintained properly [emoji28][emoji28][emoji28]...
