  • [Photo Feature]: Importing a Yamaha RZ350?

So I have been wondering what is the procedures for importing an old 2-stroke bike to India. Bike in question is the mighty RZ350.

As I have seen, 2-3 people have them with legit registration numbers on Instagram.

So, if anyone who has knowledge on these subject please share your knowledge.

I've heard that vehicles above 3 years of age cannot be imported to India

Oh. So is there anyway to import one.

As I don’t want to trouble the owners for selling them[emoji16]

dont bother those guys, with the level of bureaucracy they have endured to get it regd, they wont sell, even if they do you in all probability will not be able to afford the quoted price, best bet will be to check with the local customs office, and youtube

That could be it. But let’s face a fact that old machines require a lot of money to operate properly [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] which I have learned while I was restoring my 100[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Do you honestly believe that someone who can afford a cow won't be able to afford cattle feed and rope

                    Re: Importing a Yamaha RZ350?

Vehicles older than 3yrs are not allowed to be imported. I tried to import Yamaha XS650 from Malaysia but couldn't, due to the 3yrs old rule.
