  • yamaha rxz paint job & performance upgrades

The Z had been completely striped off, the chassis was burnt to take off the old paint(chassis was nice n shining), later I left for a month long trip & had no plans to come back to town, eventually I did, but only to see the chassis was covered with rust.
I did expect rust because I live near the salty water, but it was above it.
I have to start scrubbing the rust off with sand paper & water all over again but dam confused, should I wait for the rains to pass by or should I start the repaint job.
Guys please help me with a color, the Z has all its panels n fairing.

    thanx

sand the frame, do a primer so it wont catch rust.

Ah nice to see one of my fav RX guys on the forum. The chromed stuff you dropped off at my place looks awesome indeed. Now to sort out the Paint and we'll be good to go

The engine already had been rebuilt with the following mods

A 60mm Stage 2 street port setup. Decent exhaust duration since this will be running on a stock pipe
            Yamaha Banshee Reeds
A modded clutch, few tweaks to the rotor and other things
            A 30mm Keihin flatslide

The paintjob will be the real show stealer here though. Tabish has taken a lot of effort to get the stuff sorted, and has personally looked into many factors of the bike himself, so Im sure it will turn out awesome

Cheers dude, I'll discuss the rest with you in person

                Hi

I'm not sure if there would be a separate part number for 5 speed.

                For 4 speed - Existing Part number 36L-F6311-00 / 9 digit 1L1190300 - Wire throttle.

thanx man, the new paint job is silver, and the body is full stock, with 6 speed stickers, hope it looks as good as the old paint.
