awrite heres some more stuff fr u guys to trip on : the yamaha TZ 750 :
a two stroke , 750 cc , 4 cylinder (4 exhasuts) motorcycle.....127HP on the mildly ported one!!!!!! mildly!!! imagine if a 3 stage porting was done to it!!!! itll have the kawasaki fr breakfast, lunch and dinner.....even Kenny Roberts (super-human) said that this bike (the TZ750) was too dangerous to ride....it handled amazingly, braking was awsome but u needed a highly skilled rider to ride this bike...cas it was sooo fast that even a small mistake could have serious concequences on this bike.....

got to see some of them when I was in the states last year. This guy had a garage full of them in Maryland. It was truly a great experience. I don't have pics of what he had, but some of these were in his "restoration museum" as he liked to call it. There are quite a few of them over there. I put these on another thread by mistake. I know the TZ750 was a monster...but so were these...in their own time of course....drum brakes on a 500cc triple Good God! And I thought the India RD was bad for braking!

Sorry for waking up such an old thread though....just discovered it.

I dont know about the tz or the kwacker, but my tner has a rz250(an extremely rare bike if i am correct).
Its still being restored, but the engine does fire up and man it sounds just beautiful.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, 'Wow! What a Ride!' -Hunter S. Thompson

Back then, through what route could you import these bikes into India? Bikes like the Kwacker triples and the RZ250's and 350's? Would be interesting to know.

Yeah I know....messed up badly on that one. Those triples were monsters. Wish I was alive back then.

KB btw, have you taken a pollution test for your KB100? It passed right? Can you tell me the measured CO emission? I'll tell you the reason for asking as soon as you reply.
