  • Rise of a Renegade!!

    Folks!
After one month of hard work by my brotherwhich includes from running pillar to post for spares with one very un-supportive yamaha dealer, my goofy paint idea and ofcourse 30K of borrowed money my brother has finally managed to put the bike together.

The Bike runs on a second oversize piston, I wanted to port my bike add an expansion chamber and upjet the carburator to make it one mean machine but could not trust the mechanic with who we were working so left that for second round of mods. Please comment on wher i could get all these done when these are done my baby would be used occasionally and hope to take him to some local races.

Please shower me with your Ideas and comments (Good, Bad & Ugly)on how the bike looks now and what I can do to make him better. Also info on good mechanics in Coimbatore who would not screw up the bike and charge the sun for a peanut's worth of work, every penny I shave spent on my baby is by cutting costs everywhere (legally) which includes me dieting to give him a good heart.

I hope not to offend any of you guys with what I have done, hope it is not an abomination of sorts and I am all ears for your valuable comments.

The bike is looking amazing minus the 'blue' part...

PERSEVERE... failure is not an option!

Loved the bike. Looks nice. However some sane stickering to blend in the blue and the white parts would be good. Maybe some sort of white sticker in the blue part or a blue stripe in the white part. Just thinking out my thoughts aloud!

Your biking tells a lot about the person you are!

The bike looks neat. Nothing over the top...like the black treatment on the drums, engine, forks etc. The blue looks good but would have looked better without it. All in all a job well executed. Good job...now its all about maintaining it the same way.

I liked blue-white combination, it looks unique ( and on RX it looks very decent).

Check rddreams.com and contact Ron Chinoy there for porting and head mods. Imho, he is the best/most honest two stroke tuner in the country.

with all due respect to you man, this is the most hilarious self contradictory statement i've ever heard

Inder the bike looks like a Bappi da fan courtesy the lighting prevalent in the mechanic shop and the mechanic working overtime to milf some money by adding some bling to it.

                      Hi Atul,

Have seen your blog and wanted to get in touch with you for this project but could not do so because of logistical reasons ( I am in Bangalore and my bike is in Coimbatore) though the thoughts are mine the executioner is my brother out there in Coimbatore. Would get back to you soon on the work that needs to be done.

Folks I shall upload the cost sheet in a day or too for your comments, please do take some time to comment on that too..
