    copper & chrome plating anywhere

    hey guys,
    i had posted this in the yezdi thread but didnt get a reply so made a separate thread...copper plating and then chrome(called hard chrome)used to be done long time back.do ull guys any idea where i can get my yezdi hard chromed.the normal chrome last only a year or 2 in mumbai conditions.ive been asking a lot of mechanics but none of them know now.i thought this is the best place to ask.

          buffing shops those who use to do chrome plating also, they can do hard chrome also. try in some big famous chrome shop. its not a tough job. it costs around three times than the normal electroplating, but lasts forever.

                i dont know how convinient would it be for you if i find some one in Delhi for you. cause there are some people doing this who i know

                      Because people have a Zilch idea about it, They use some kind of Spray Paint of Chrome for some chrome type of finish on a product.

                      Honestly that would have been my idea also, if i would jave also not read that you want it chrome plated!

                        i have done chrome plating once two years back but mumbai's saline air just doesnt let it be.thats the reason i want hard chrome.the copper plate makes rusting very slow.i dont mind paying three times the amount...its better than chroming it every two years....also my yezdi roadking was my first bike....very sentimental about it.

                            There is a guy called Kalarikal Sashi in Peenya, Bangalore who does Hard chrome, but I dont have his contact right now.
