    Smoking Shaolin

    Happy Deepavli guys.
While everyone were busy in doing pooja and decorating their houses.
I was busy with my shaolin, my shaolin was smoking a lot even after cleaning the carb and the muffler and on top of that i have been using NGK Sparks which is brand new.

What i did was i widened the distance between the plug gap on the NGK's.
to my suprise the smoke is very very less, it smokes only at the start if the bike is idle for a long time and then its gone but the bike sounds like RX 135, which i really really hate.

    Any inputs guys.

the thing with 2 strokes is that, they have very simple mechanics into building it, so dden on the flip side, they foul and get problems quickly too, for ex. Just find out when was ure engine rebuilt last, or opened for a good overhaul, when the last time the clutch n pressure plates changed, whats the state of the piston rings and oil rings, how is the mounting gasket. Carbon deposits and oil burining with petrol are the causes of its issues.

Keep an eye on my thread al be posting info on diff issues that am getting solved

@racoon good for you, but for people like me who have acciquired a near run down condition one, we do not know wen was the last time the oil was changed in the engine, or the bike being 10 years still runs on the same chain sprocket that it came with out of the showroom, so such kind of maintainence means heavy work later, a 2stroker needing a re build is no big deal, less complications in machinery = quicker simpler rebuild

^^^ What I ment is its not right to say that 2 strokers foul and get problems quickly, etc. In fact, I'd say the reverse might be a bit more true...

^^^^^ Peace man, both our points are valid, lets not discuss this anymore, 2 strokes are 2 strokes, i LOVE them and so do you.
