  • My Suzuki Shogun 1994 Rebuild

    Hello Everybody,
I am a new member of xBhp. I was introduced to xBhp by my good friend Ameya Gandhe (Ameyashogun). After going through xBhp i felt it is very informative and full of passionate bike lover's. This is my first thread about my Suzuki Shogun that i recently rebuilt after 15 years. I have tried my level best to restore it to its stock condition Please do give me your reviews and advices about the work done on it.
    Thank you!

I am getting a mileage of 37kmpl and the total cost of restoring it was around Rs.23,000.

Glad you liked it, thanks! I prefer the pulsar gas shocks as they are very comfortable for my everyday commuting. I didnt get the original indicators for shogun. Lastly, the handle is of the shogun itself on which i got a bar welded & repainted.

Its a 1994 model originally silver in color. I live in Chembur, Mumbai. Which part of Mumbai are you from? Those 2 Yamaha's are also mine, i am going to post pictures of them soon as i have got them restored and modified.

i ve used pulsar gas shocks too but i feel stock gabriel shocks are better coz it doesnt affect the handling unlike the gas shocks which are meant for a heavier bike

Are u using oil pump or premix ??

Neat looking ride you have there..looks simple and yet so good. The paint job is top notch, likes the black treatment on the engine et all. The mirrors look out of place IMO, dont gel with the classic look of the bike, rest everthing else is simply awesome. I may be wrong but didnt the shogun come with a silencer heat shield?, coz yours looks very much like the AX 100 i have.

I am using the oil pump as its efficiently working.
