Not at all Alok. Samurai shares its body with the Shogun. Supra's tail is different as you can see in the pics. It has the same tail piece as the international model AX100.

                    Hi
actual supra speedo looks similar to samurai speedo, the difference is in the dial, in supra it is a square dial.
we can connect this tacho to any 2 strokes there are 3 wires -ve,+ve and the signal cable. +ve and -ve to the switch key. and we will get the signal from the ignition coil. I am using shogun(or samurai) wiring kit, so don't have to add any extra wires. just plug in.

Did not know that the shogun tacho was running off the CDI. Thought it was a cable driven mechanical setup.

                      Thnx for the info.

My first bike in college , sold it in 1998 to a guy in Bombay. Just got my hands on another one & will be restoring it soon. Do you have the owners manual for the power up? I am looking for the stator output figures. The 9.5 bhp had a 40W stator and the Shogun had a 60W one, dont remember if the 11 bhp supra had a 40 or 60... ?? I remember running a Gypsy beam...heck, I answered my own question, guess it was 60W as I was running a 55/60W halogen!
