    @pentagram, this is chic buddy.. She looks awesome in its newer avatar (although its only the HB and rear seat rest, but still)..

    I might sound funny, but I need to know this, Could someone explain the difference between a TB TwinSpark and TB Legend?

      yeah u rite Yamaha......the tbird is something mid way to sportster...bt surely not a cruiser or a chooper !! ... n thanks for the comment!! there are few more mods that are alligned for this beauty ... bt i am waiting for the running in period to get over...

      Thanks man ....i am glad u liked my taste..... see with just 2 mods the bike is totally revamped ....n the best part..it didnt hurt the warrantly policy .....

      TB Twinspark is the latest tech RE is offering ... with UCE...havent heard of TE Legend....i guess u got confused with my thread title....when i said legend...i meant Royal Enfield...THE LEGEND

        Comparison ....thats my friend's TBTS......

        Mods done are : Changed the handle to bullet electra....gives a more firm and manly sitting..similar to Bullet.....and removed the back rest !!

          Any plans oin changing your silcencer pipe?? I am still confused between a Goldstar, the bent pipe from RE or the old STD 350 short bottle. But me too waiting for my running in to finnish before doing any mods to the exhaust

            yes... as of now i am planning for STD 350 short silencer....but only after the running in is done.....not going to take any chance by straining the engine...... My friend has a goldstar......the sound is loud...but its not inline with the thump or the DUG DUG that goes with the RE image...it more of less like e PHISSING sound... also i have been reading about some issues people get with goldie....

            besides upsweapt bent pipe wont look good with Thunderbird...but yes it will surely be a pleasure to see it fitted with your electra...its more bullet oriented... i would suggest you go with upsweat...the sound is awesome and looks are killing when clubbed with electra or classic.

                The bulls warrant a silencer cahnge as soon as the run in is over.. Thats stock long pipe really chokes and holds the bike back I feel.

                Thanks for the tip on the Goldie, I too think the upswept would be ideal on my Electra, it would really go well with the knobby tyres i have and give the bike a Trails bike kinda look. Something like the Electra50 trails that was available in the UK sometime back

                      The Tbird to me looks so much nicer with the shorter Handle bar and that back rest removed.

                        i liked the pictures of TBTS i looks gr8 with the electra handlebar n changed my thinking abt this bike...i wanted to have smaller tyre at rear like 16''....what you think...??as TBTS is too high from rear...

                          @Pentagram: U got a killer of a machine buddy. I too have booked my T'bird and awaiting delivery around march. U have so much relieved me by pointing out the wierdness of the original TBTS handlebar. Now I get to know why this amazing peice of machinery looked out of place somewhere or the other. I was almost going to cancel my TBTS booking and shift on to Classic 350. But I loved the swoping lines of the TBTS and the Lightining/TBTS has always been my dream since I was in high school. I too would be definitely going your way, I will be changing the handlebar to the Electra 5S's. By the way, how much did it cost? And did u get it exchanged?
                          I wont be removing the rear seat rest as of now, that can be done at a later time, but as soon as I get the bike, I will be putting in the Electra handlebars for sure.
