                            Continued from Post#1:

We had 6 passionate bikers from Berhampur(175kms south off BBSR) interested in joining and no wonder they were the most active participants when it came to deciding on dates and most importantly the inclusion of the spreadsheet(by rajit999) which came in extremely handy in keeping a tab on
the member's details who were willing to be a part of the meet. But tough luck as Raman and Rajit suffered from a viral fever just couple of days before the big day which lead to cancellation of other riders(Setu, Deep,Vivek and Kiran) from Berhampur.

Unfazed by it, Myself and Avik tried to coordinate things with the riders of BBSR so that we achieve a decent turnout. Avik proactively came forward in booking the hotel rooms for Kolkata xBhpians so as to avoid last minute disappointments. We(BBSR xBhpians) didnt book any rooms as we were skeptical about the turnout. As days went by slowly we started getting confirmations from the riders. Finally a group of 11 bikes(13 Men) were ready to raid one of the lesser known pristine beaches in Eastern India.

                            Anirban Mitra(Honda Stunner)
Abhaya ku Samantaray (TVS Apache RTR 160)
                            Avik Chakraborty (Hero Honda Karizma)
                            Anupam (Bajaj Pulsar 150 DTSi)
Avilas Biswal (Bajaj Pulsar 220 DTSi)
                            Balraj Samant(Pillion with Dev)
                            Chandan (Yamaha Fazer)
                            Devsunder Jagdev (Hyosung Comet GT250)
                            Dibya Acharya(Bajaj Pulsar 150 DTSi)
                            Priyadarshi Sadhu (Hero Honda Hunk)
                            Somnath Chakraborty (Honda CB Dazzler)
Sumeet Mund (TVS Apache RTR 180)
                            Myself (TVS Apache RTR 180)

All of us decided to meet and discuss about the plan, formation and other things in detail on Friday Evening.Archistar(Debarpita) also joined as he was in the town, that day.xBhpian Siddhant also participated in the discussion even if he didnt intended to join in us for the ride. After the discussion was over we decided on the BPCL Petrol Out near Rasulgarh as our meeting point and 5:30 A.M as the time of meeting so that we would leave before 6 A.M

                            The BIG DAY

The morning of Saturday was just not another morning because it was still dark(4:45 A.M) as i woke up from a not-so-deep sleep. Quickly finished off the morning rituals and off i was on the White Devil towards the meeting point. I reached the place at 5:35 A.M and found Chandan(Fazer) to be the first one to have arrived at the spot. Filled up 300 bucks worth of petrol and resetted the trip meter. By then, Dev(Comet) with pillion Balraj along with Sumeet(RTR 180) had already arrived. As we were chatting soon we were joined by Avik(ZMA),Somnath(Dazzler), Anirban(Stunner) Sadhu(HH Hunk) and Anupam(Pulsar 150).Abhu on his RTR 160 reached the spot with his friend(Chandan) and so did Bijjan.By that time it was already 5:50 A.M and were waiting for one person who was missing was Abhilas(P220), after some frantic calls he responded(Sounded sleepy ) but he joined us in a span of 10 minutes. We missed one of the xBhpian who has supposed to join us in the trip and that was Dibya but he couldnt make it as he didnt get the green signal from his mother in the morning(He did surprise us, more on that later!! ). Disappointed we started off our journey towards Chandipur to be a part of one of a kind G2G ever happened/organized in Eastern India.

                            L to R: Avilas,Dev,Balraj & Chandan

We continued riding against cool soothing winds and it was a lovely feeling when riding as a group of 10 bikes cutting through the light highway traffic. As we were passing through various crossings we were getting curious looks of bypassers, truck drivers, car owners as for them it would also be a different sight of a group of bikes(Yes, we had our headlights "ON" throughout to identify bikers of our group).

Having our first butt-break/photoshoot near Chowdwar.

                            Chandan and his Fazer!!

Halted at Chowdwar to have breakfast. Time:7:40 A.M

                            Dev with his BEAST!!

                            Bikers to Somnath's Rescue!!

Stunter Sumeet on his RTR 180

Avilash enjoying the rumble of V-Twin Motor!!

                            Avik aka Black17BHP

                            Anirban astride the Stunner

Myself:Time to rip the Fastest Indian!!

                            Mr.Cool-Sadhu!!

Riding on the highway at constant 70-80 km/hr with group had a unique feeeling which most of us never had before. At occasions some of us tried to entertain ourselves for some seconds as we ripped(when the road conditions permitted) to the other side of 100km/hr.

Being Monsoon season we were literally playing hide and seek with the rain gods. We were virtually escaping the clouds as they were roaring behind us but they did manage to get us drenched!!

Our last stop-over/break on our way to Chandipur...Chandipur now just 50kms from here.

                            To Be continued...
