By this time it was already 12 o'clock and we were nearing Balasore Town. At around 12:15P.M we made our way to Chandipur(16kms awat) through the narrow streets of the town. The thin busy road transformed into a serpentine of curves running through lush green paddy fields once we made our way through the chaotic town. What an awesome sight it was when 11 bikes(Yes, the headlights were still ON!! ) were negotiating the light traffic.

Bypassers must have mistaken us for some rally or supporters of some political party. So far it was a nice experience until we were stopped by a Police Patrol Jeep.That time Myself(I was riding the Stunner) along with Anirban(he was riding my bike) were trailing the group and we were puzzled to see fellow bikers pulled over by the police. After some rounds of questioning we were told that it is not permitted to ride vehicles with headlamp "ON" during daytime. It was surprising as well as amusing for us having learnt that. He even said that we might catch attention of of potential threats(Naxalites/Terrorists) from suspecting policeman.

We were let off with a warning and we continued our way to the Hotel Panthanivas. We reached the hotel(at 12:40 P.M) which is situated exactly besides the beach.Thankfully the Hotel had a huge parking place and we were able to park out steeds without any fuss.

Some of our group members had to book rooms(dormitory) in another nearby hotel as Panthanivas wasn't vacant. Quickly we checked into the dormitory and freshened up ourselves.

Time:1:50 P.M
Fellow Kolkata xBhpians reached the hotel at around 2 P.M. Some of us who were put up on Panthanivas welcomed them and they checked in and helped themselves. We then continued to have Lunch and came back to our respective rooms to take some rest. Had a nice little chat with Deepanjan,
Sagar,Sourav and Sunny in the dorm and then we took a cat's nap to ease off ourselves as we had a busy evening planned for.

At about 4:30 P.M I made my way to the parking spot where I found Gibran(bikemaniac) and Dev(devrockz) sharing info about their modded R165 and the Comet GT250R.It was a great string of questions which lead to discussion on drag race launch procedures explained by Gibran.



After some discussion(related to bikes,of course ) we made our way to the one of a kind beach which forced some of us to take our rides onto the beach. Riding on the wet semi-slush type of surface gave an extraordinary feeling. Any faster we would have painted the bikes with muck. So we kept things snail-slow and kept on riding towards the endless horizon. The farther we were riding it was just getting better and better, the sea covered with thick black clouds gave a sense of danger approaching towards us.It was about time the waves would make their way towards us. We had only 35-40 minutes as local people said to return back on to the embankment as the sea will make their progress towards the beach.
