    The West Coast Run!

    Hi!

    Starting 21st Aug, 2010, am going for a road trip across the Konkan & Malabar coast. It will end in Bangalore on 29th Aug, 2010.
    The route planned is:
    Pune - Sangameshwar ( Via Mahabhaleshwar) - Malwan - Karwar - Mangalore - Coorg - Thrissur - Wayanad - Bangalore.


    Please help me out with tips and if some one wants to join on the trip ( No Pillion Riders please) ,reply.

      nice plan there man..
      would make couple of suggestions:
      - take Koyna ghat instead (right turn from Umbraj).. pretty scenic and less crowded one.
      - NH17 is full of potholes.. but bikes can easily avoid them with some care.. ride safe.
      - It will be raining 24X7. please be prepared.
      - Hotel drive in with HP petrol pump is nice pitstop some KMs before Sangameshwar. on right hand side.
