BTW how are the road conditions in general on the ghats & thereafter from Sakleshpur to Mangalore?

Ghats some are bad and some parts are very good with concrete roads.Out of 10, 30kms of Ghats are a combo of good and bad roads.
After Ghats, it is quick drive. Very good roads and small patches of bad roads. BC Road is a problem as flyover work is underway but after you cross BC road, roads are 4 lane and a quick drive with few intersections.

Hi,
Its well narrated one. Real challenge is riding in the rain. You could've prefered Charmadi Ghat other than shiradi Ghat since its totally ruined. Though its 40km excess compared to Shiradi, the roads are rideable. The nature looks very cool and beautiful throughout the ghat section.
Its good that you never gave up inspite of heavy rain.... Khudos to u
