  • A weekend ride to nainital (UK)..

All of us used to get excited when we read any road trip logs and see the fascinating nature and roads at its best and usually we all don't have so much

time to spend at home to view these threads so it's obvious that most of us spend time while at work in office and feel so energetic and enthusiast while

reading someone's trip log so after spending so much time reading many threads I have decided to spent some time while sharing my experience of road trips....

So we have a group of friends from college time and we are still connected and we often visit Uttranchal on weekends (Delhi---Uttranchal) ...
So here I am sharing a short log of my recent trip to Nainital....containg a small number of pics...not so many as it was raining all the time...

    ---------------
Look at some of the pics..
    1) Before 20 km to Nainital

    2) Bikes feeling the nature ..it was raining like it will never stop..

    3) above clouds..it was like heaven

    4) View from hotel..

    waiting for approval..

so we started our journey with some expected friends and with some non expected friends..

we were going to a very different way from ghaziabad..actaully it's was as follows..

          1) Mohan Nagar ghaziabad..
          2) Pilkhuwa
          3) Hapur
          4) Garhmukteshwar
          5) Gajraula
          6) didauli
          7) Muradabad (dnt go via flyover or bypass there is another way just keep an eye on the left hand board to skipp tat flyover or you will not find a single U-turn untill 15-20 Km)
          8) Asked localities about where is ch.charan singh chowk and take left from there and go on the road for 8 Km and then a railway crossing will come then after 3 km a T point will come
right goes to bareilly and we took left and after having garma garma pkode there on the left side there is an right hand turn we took that turn and then after going neraly 200 meter a
right turn comes..then turn right and it will show you that nainital is exact 99Km from there..road condition was better from jan to june nut then after you can not find road..but it will last
upto the end point of UP. and from UK border you will find a runway like road no traffic and a deep forest area...

Ok its better to ask local people for the bajpur and Tanda road..then to follow a map..

here i am attaching the google map Url so that it will be easy for some one to go by this way..

          Map part 1:

          Map part 2:

......as I said it was raining heavely and we found some where in the way that the road is closed due to heavy rain
we imidiatly saw that there was no sign of road only water and water.. then all decided to check the water level and road condition by
going by foot and we analyzed that the road was broken and the flow of water was very high.\

          After crossing the streams..

.it was flowing from one side of the road to another..

but we crossed that stream some how.. due to rain we were not able capture many pics of the area so here are some pics after we crossed that area...

One more thing majorly we used two cell phones for capturing the pics one is Sony ericsson C905 (8.1 MP) and Sony Ericsson W995 (8.1 MP)

it was all cloudy.weather..but it feels like heaven there..have a look..

          next nature at it best..

          ..

          Some photography skills..

whole story is coming in 2 hours... and i knw people will laugh when they will see that one of the person in our group were riding a very old Bajaj Scooter chetak for this ride...whole story in next post...
