Every day it seems to be getting better. It has been a pleasure riding with 15 bikes in Malaysia, many of the riders from differnt countries. A real eye opener for me, its unbelievably good for motorcycling. I am today at a place called Cameron Highlands. 15kms from here we went to tea plantations which were similar to Munnar in kerela. Some shots:

    From iPhone 4

^Having Green Tea with the tea plantations in background at the Cameron Highlands

    On the hghway:

The MV Agusta amongst the plantations

The twisties to Cameron Highlands are an absolute delight! Our convoy of 15 bikes was looking stunning sweeping the butter smooth corners there like a perfect symphony, the BMW 1200 performed stunningly well on the corners, despite its height!

One of the good things I have come to like Malaysia about is the fact that motorcycling is supported and recognized by almost everyone as a respectable and serious activity. Not only this but people are really serious about riding. Speaking of that the go is also with the show, in this case a heaviliy tricked out goldwing preview:

You can expect to see lots of such stuff and more in the documentaryw hich will come with a DVD with the Feb issue of the xBhp mag!

So are you riding multiple bikes throughout the course? I see the GS and the Brutale too!

And how do we know that you are not in Munnar?

Lovely going Sunny! However, the photos don't do justice; aren't you carrying the 5D II and the 24-105mm?

Hoping to see some amazing shots, like always.

I think for the present we have to be content with the famous dialogue from movie OSO "picture abhi baaki hai mere dost"

@aryan: I have clicked lot of pics, and even more videos. The top pics, articles and the documentary will come out with the xBhp magazine. Since this wasnt a full blown ride but a riding - cultural experience I chose not to have a full fledged blog for it.

Meanwhile, got this certificate for completing a fatastic 10 days in Malaysia, made 20 odd biker friends and had incredible amounts of info and experience exchange!

The bikes that I rode in this trip were:

The BMW 1200GS : for approx 400 kms

High Point: Makes you feel like invincible
              Low point: high and heavy

              The Kawasaki ZX6R (2002) for 150 kms
High Point: Was race spec, so sweet sound and smooth
Low point: was a little bulky compared to the current crop of 600s

The MV Agusta Brutale for 120 kms
High Point: Extremely powerful, compact, exotic
Low Point: a tad heavy on the corners, but perhaps it was just me

The KTM Adventure 990 for approx 200 kms

High Point: Torquey, extremely good in corners (courtsey the V)
Low Point: perhaps the looks, this one got a little to hot

              The Kawasaki KLR650 for 100kms
High Point: simple to the point, light, multipurpose and chea
              Low point: too simple

The best out of the lot was the KTML Adventure 990 followed by the BMW 1200 for me!

              More later!

Seeing these bikes in flesh in Malaysia made me go mad, to imagine riding these in such kickass roads is like relishing Godiva Dark Chocolates....

A rider has slipped on his KLR 650 on a slow but slippery turn. No one was around (except an approaching Goldwing, whose pillion clicked these pics). So i decided to pick his bike up. I had vaguely remembered the lesson on picking a big bike up and this is how I did it - almost the recommended way. A lesson well learnt perhaps
