        @ Josh: Thanks for opening this thread.

        @ ALL: Thanks for all your wishes.

        It was one of my best ride. And one more thanks to Josh for properly organizing the event. Albeit, Mahesh's bike got punctured 3 times, subbu's rim got bent and heavy rain throughout night and 130 km of bad stretch, what say, we completed the ride successfully with great team effort. I thank Josh, Ram, Mahesh and Subbu for your support throughout the ride at all situations.

          thnx strider .. there has been a group from pune who have attempted before but am not sure if they have been certified. The bikes performance and other details coming soon.

          And yeah its RSA as far a I remember(Mods can confirm as it was on the old xBhp...lots of data lost after the crash )...coz thats when i came to know of this term
          humm yeah i hv gone thru the the thread before.. like u said "ITS MORE ABOUT THE RIDER THAN THE RIDE" and this SS1000 is a total endurance test for both Man & Machine.

            yo sakthi aka bodysoda.. why are you getting so formal with your thanks and stuff to me this was a group effort and without our combined strength nothing like this would have been possible.

              Josh: The 2nd of Oct is a holiday and the 3rd is a Sunday so we can do it on these dates.. what say..??
              Ram: Great bro.. am confirmed.. lets speak to our other members and get back with what they think.

              Immediately frantic calls are made to Subbu,Mahesh & Sakthi who all give in their confirmations for the ride without even thinking for a fraction of a second.. I always knew I could count on these true friends and great bikers. Called up Ram and confirmed the list of riders who were sure to join in.

              Now the next part was to decide on the final date, Route, time, and the necessary paperwork required.. so we all got down to work with whatever information we could gather and had long con calls every night till the final plan was made and laid out. www.ironbutt.com provided all the required information and cleared all our doubts. www.mapsonus.com site used by IBA confirmed our route and the distance we were planning to cover. The witness forms & trip log forms were printed and separate folders were made for each rider.


              THE FINALPLAN

              DATE OF ATTEMPT: 2ND & 3RD OF OCTOBER (SATURDAY & SUNDAY)

                              thanx y'all for the wishes.. it was great fun (n tiresome too ) ridin with my friends. a special thanx to josh (as u'd hav seen in the initial log, the spark came from him).. and not the least, the group's support was enormous, which was more than needed for everyone of us, as u wud c in the subsequent logs.. thanx for making this one trip of a lifetime.. hopin to do BB with u guys soon.. ride hard..!!!!!

                                well well well now these are words strainght from the doc's mouth put in your inputs too about the ride cos my memory is a little weak and i tend to forget many things now a days
