Planning to go to Lonavala this weekend. Any specific spots in Lonavala which are must watch?

Have already been to Pavana Lake .... its an awesome place.
Guys any idea about Tiger hills or some caves near lonavala....how is that place?

Best places around Mumbai/Pune are :

        1. Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar (very close to each other, so u can go to Panchgani, do some sightseeing and then stay at mahabaleshwar).

Panchgani is famous for Mala's jams, syrups, squashes etc. Do stop at their farm outlet and pick up some delicious stuff. They also have soft chewy candies in raw mango and strawberry flavor (marketed by the name Falero) -- must buy .

        Mahabaleshwar is famous for strawberries.

        2. Alibaug / Kihim / Murud / Kashid

Superb beaches especially at Murud and Kashid. At kashid and murud, the beaches are very clean with soft sand and hardly too much crowd. You can wade into the sea for quite a distance and the water level stays at chest level. Watch out for rocks at some places and only enter the water near the shacks.

Little further you can go to the Janjeera fort which is built over the sea. Havent been there due to huge crowd but worth a visit i guess.

Here you can book a homestay and it wont cost much too. One homestay i would recommend is Sahyadri tourist home - 0-92701-67083 / 94208-36440. contact Santosh Kodere. This is at Murud/Kashid. Decent place and very nice to stay over. The owner also operates speed boats and jet ski's on the beach, so ask for a ride at a discounted rate.

Hope this helps. Have a safe and fun trip.
