  • [Photo Feature]: Trip to Sindhudurg, Maharashtra

It all started with an urge to go on a ride. Did two rides in the last two months but nothing this month. As dont have more than a day to go on for a ride so started looking for places nearby Goa within a radius 100-150km. Checked out the website for Maharashtra and karnataka tourism. Found Sindhurug and the plan was made. Convinced some of my friends to come along but all of them wanted to go in a car that spoiled my entire mood and I was like I am going on a bike make arrangements for your travel however you want to come.

Started the ride at 6:30 in the morning on 26th of October. The weather was great neither hot nor rainy. Got my riding gear and mounted up The Tornado.

Maintained a cruising speed of 65-70kmph all the way.

    Some pics of the highway

the sun started to rise up, with it the atmosphere started fogging up. At some places the fog was so dense that there were water droplets on the visor after crossing through it.

the most prominent and dangerous species on an any of the Indian Highways

finally reached the fort. the fort cant be reached via road have to go via ferry ride of around 10 minutes. some of the pics of the fort. it was a huge one. if anybody is going there ask the ferry person before boarding it that whether you can come back by another ferry or not.

a small beach beyond the fort walls there's a small door to reach it...

started back for goa at around 2 in the noon that time it was hot. it started raining heavily after lunch that brought some relief from the heat of the sun.... reached back at around 4-4:30....

P.S: Ride safe with your full gear on...
